Responsibilities:
Responsible for development of web applications written in Ruby on Rails.
Design and develop product application including both back-end and front-end.
Collaborate with UI developers to deliver product functionality.
Skills:
Good understanding of complexities of concurrency and scalability
In depth working knowledge on Ruby (1.8.x / 1.9.x), Rails (2.x.x, 3.x.x)
Should have exposure on HTML, CSS and Javascript (Knowledge of jquery would be an added advantage)
Creator/Maintainer of open source projects on Github
Good inclination towards UI design and usability.
